Once the number of LEDs has been selected, the user can dim or flash the chosen LEDs. Selecting the dim mode will produce 40 to 50 percent of the maximum light from high mode, but will use as little as 25 to 30 percent of battery power (depending on the batteries state of charge) as the same number of LEDs on high.
